What is Squad as a Service?

Squad as a Service is TWRT’s model for allocating dedicated teams that operate as an extension of the client’s team. The squad is made up of complementary professionals—developers, designers, QA specialists, and a product owner—who work autonomously, follow agile practices, and focus on continuous value delivery.

Why do we prioritize the product over projects?

Projects have defined start and end dates, but digital products evolve continuously. By focusing on the product, the squad maintains accumulated context, reduces handoffs, and delivers incremental improvements that respond to the market in real time—rather than waiting for long, fixed-scope cycles.

How does the dual-track system work?

On the discovery track, the team investigates problems, validates hypotheses with users, and defines solutions before coding. On the delivery track, validated features are implemented and delivered in short sprints. The two tracks operate in parallel, maintaining both speed and quality.

What data (DevStats) does TWRT monitor?

We monitor DORA metrics (deployment frequency, lead time for changes, change failure rate, MTTR), as well as velocity, throughput, and code quality. The data is consolidated into dashboards accessible to the client to ensure complete transparency regarding the squad’s performance.
